Jadey onset of The Last Dumpling
Jadey is an award-winning director and writer with a flair for high-energy, action-comedy storytelling. Her work blends sharp humour with dynamic visuals, creating bold, memorable films that connect with audiences worldwide.
With a background in dance, mo-cap and all things action, Jadey has worked on Fast & Furious, The Huntsman: Winter's War, Ready Player One, The World's End and Guardians of the Galaxy’​​​
FILM & NARRATIVE
She has directed multiple BAFTA and BIFA-qualifying shorts, including 10 Minutes For A Pound, Sticky Fingers, The Last Dumpling, and her latest, Love & Bullets, written and produced by Neil Marshall. Jadey also brought her wit and imagination to four playful BFI Art of Action ads, showcasing her ability to combine comedy and action with cinematic style. She is currently developing an action slate and focused on getting her debut feature, Bingo Bastards, off the ground.
RECOGNITION
Jadey’s short The Last Dumpling premiered at the Oscar-qualifying HollyShorts Film Festival in 2025. She was awarded Silver at the 1.4 Awards for “Director on the Cusp,” nominated at the Young Director Awards, and featured on The Shiny List as a rising creative voice. Her commercial work is known for bold storytelling, strong character, and a knack for bringing humour and personality to brands.
INDUSTRY
Jadey has recently shadowed Christopher McQuarrie on Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, further deepening her expertise in large-scale action storytelling. She also has a co-production deal in the UAE, where she is set to write and direct an action feature, Blackout.
